Amelia Bauer
Illustrator of The Secret Language of Sleep

Amelia was born and raised in the high-mountain deserts of Santa Fe, New Mexico. She is a Presidential Scholar in the Arts, and a graduate of the School of Art at The Cooper Union. Her work has been exhibited at the Center on Contemporary Arts in Seattle, American Fine Arts in New York City, New Mexico Museum of Fine Arts, Miami Museum of Art, and National Museum of American Art of the Smithsonian Institution. Her illustrations have been published in the Believer and Warrior magazines, as well as several McSweeney's publications. Amelia currently lives and works in Brooklyn, New York.
