Ladies and gentlemen, Celine Dion!

Late last night, Marco and I turned on the television and happenstancedly caught her on Larry King, and we just watched her go, utterly slack-jawed, just WOW.

Who knew that Celine Dion was so weirdly awesome? And that her command of the English language was so very whimsical (“open the television”)? And that Larry King — sitting there in his purple top and purple suspenders, blithely asking a weeping and absolutely unhinged Celine Dion if there was maybe a song that might fit the moment? — was such an emotionally out-of-touch monster?
