back to work

I got a new job! I’m helping out at McSweeney’s Publishing. Fun! But it turns out — after six months of days filled with nothing but leisurely lunches, sojourns to Chico, and gleeful, late nights rolling around with my television — all my work muscles, the ones responsible for the smiling and the typing and the physically leaving the house, they’ve completely atrophied, oops. And boy are my arms tired!

Yet tired, tired, tired as I am, it appears that I’ve also lost all ability to sleep like a normal person. Since I’ve started working, I’ve been sleeping three maybe four hours a night. And the less I sleep, the less I feel tethered to the world you all live in. Hi!
