so sew!

It’s not often that I find myself wishing I lived in Boston (ask me sometime about the horrible two hours I spent circling the Big Dig, frantically trying to make my way to the airport as the eerie, Mr. Belvedere GPS voice of my breakfast-brown rental car firmly urged me to make lefts and rights where no lefts and rights existed), but my friend Marilyn’s new sewing collective has me feeling full of wist for beantown.
Come on, not only do you get to compare notes and swatches with other crafties, but … a bank of sewing machines for you to use for beefy, four-hour blocks of time? For someone who still hand-stitches everything, that’s one dreamy proposition.
So if you’re lucky enough to live in the area, I feel like it’s your duty to take advantage of this resource on my behalf:
So SewWednesdays from 4:00 – 8:00 pm
Oni Gallery, 684 Washington Street, Chinatown, Boston
$5 fee to cover costs
Go! Now! Scratch that itch to stitch! Wait no, now’s your time to stitch and moan? Calling all stitch diggers?
